Clip-in extensions are like other hair extensions, you need to take care, after washing, you also need to store well. Let's see how to wash it in the correct way.
Step 1:
Comb your hair extensions with either a comb or a brush. Make sure all knots and tangles are gone. Before the shampooing process takes place, it is imperative to remove any existing tangles with extreme care utilizing a wide tooth comb. If the hair is excessively tangled, spray on conditioner. Do not use force or much like your own hair youwill experience breakage.
Step 2:
Using warm water, gently wet the extensions.Put shampoo on them but you don't need to be rough. Carefully rinse the hair extensions separately with lukewarm water.Place a small amount of shampoo specifically formulated for chemically treated hair in the palm of your hand. The shampoo should be applied to the hair in a downward motion from the top of the extensions to the ends. Gently lather the shampoo until the hair is visibly clean. Rinse the hair thoroughly beneath lukewarm water until allshampoo has been completely removed.
Step 3:
Apply conditioner.it is imperative to condition your 100% human hair extensions much like your own hair to maintain softness and shine. Again a small amount of conditioner should be applied as before using a downward motion. Refrain from twisting, rubbing or scrubbing the hair. We recommend you leave the conditioner on for up to 5 minutes then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Gently blot hair with a towel to remove excess water.
Step 4:
Once you've rinsed out the conditioner and they've dried, comb through the extensions so they're not tangled. You can leave the extensions out in the sun to dry if you're in a hurry as they'll need staightening. You may blow dry the extensions, but first apply a heat protectant to prevent possible damage to the hair.
Step 5:
Storing human hair exensions.Tie a loose ponytail around the extensions to refrain from knotting. You can store the hair in any safe place out of reach of children and pets and at room temperature. Make sure your hair extensions are tangle-free and clean prior to storage. Some styling products can damage, weaken, tangle, dry, attract dirt and discolor human hair if left on for too long. Remember, you won't need to wash them every night or even every second night - just once a week or once a fortnight should be fine.
